The project “Strengthening Practice Oriented Education Program for the Automotive Industry (STEP)” is financed by DAAD. The project is in cooperation with the technical university of Chemnitz (CUT), the National School of Electronics and Telecommunications of Sfax (ENET’Com), Imk automotive GmbH (Imk) and PRIMATEC Engineering (Primatec). The aim is to promote the automotive industry in Tunisia and Germany.
The aims of the project are:
– Promote research projects on topics relevant to the local automotive industry
-Cooperation between industry and universities
-Establish an active, relevant network covering higher education institutions and local business partners in the automotive field
-Joint-development of a practice-oriented master program and modernization of the existing curricula in automotive engineering at the partner university
– Events such as Hackathons, visits to fairs, certifications…Within the project, the kick-off days 2022 from 26-28 of December 2022 are organized. Experts from Germany and Tunisia will give insights into trends in the automotive sector, and a soft skill workshop is also planned.
